In 1992, the founder of Modern Deko, Soonho, launched a gallery with five art-students in Xiamen, China. At the time, they only sold reproductions of masterpieces (oil paintings on canvas) and provided framing services to local patrons. They relied on the reputation they gained with their first customers who then referred others for their excellent quality, affordable prices and superior service. Their reputation grew in the marketplace and soon foreign visitors started to purchase artwork at the studio who upon returning home referred others to purchase from Modern Deko from overseas. Today, Modern Deko continues to pursue the ideals of excellent quality, affordable prices and superior service, which has resulted in the expansion to a 1000 square meter showroom and 5000 square meter workshop. There are now about 200 full-time artists and others who work as needed to meet production demands.

 

 

Modern Deko has developed into a leading supplier of unique, high quality contemporary stretched canvas art and we continue to welcome new partners to join us in our expansion.
