About the Museum The Jacksonville Museum of Modern Art is the largest modern and contemporary art museum in the Southeast. The permanent collection consists of works in a wide range of media, representing prominent national and international artists of the 20th and 21st century. The ArtExplorium Loft family learning center and adjoining classrooms offer exciting educational programming for a wide audience. JMOMA’s film series and lectures are offered in the 125-seat theater. Café Nola is open for lunch daily during the week (Mon. ? Fri.) and the Museum Shop carries jewelry, pottery, glass and much more from local, national and international artists.
Museum Collections Jacksonville Museum of Modern Art (JMOMA) comprises five galleries of first-class modern and contemporary art, with permanent and temporary exhibitions of work by national and regional artists.

The museum’s permanent collection includes paintings, sculptures and photographs dating from 1945 to the present, including works by Ed Paschke, Alexander Calder, Helen Frankenthaler, Robert Zakanitch, Arnaldo Pomodoro, James Rosenquist and Robert Mapplethorpe, among others. On the fifth floor there’s a family learning centre, the ArtExplorium Loft, with hands-on interactive art exhibits for children.
