Mix 2 parts vegetable oil or olive oil (alternatively, mineral oil when polish unfinished wood ) and
1 part lemon juice in a medium-sized bowl. Dip a clean, dry, lint-free cloth into the mixture and rub into the wood. Always rub wood in the direction of the grain. Use a soft-bristled toothbrush to get into tight places or to get at scrollwork or other intricate design work. Rub with a new, clean cloth until wood shines.
